First Interview: Hubert Davis as UNC's New Head Coach
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. ---  Three hours after he was announced as the new head coach of the North Carolina Basketball program on Monday, Hubert Davis did his first interview in familiar territory. Davis joined the College GameDay show, reuniting with some of the crew that he worked with for seven years at ESPN, and the comfort was immediately evident.
Amid jokes, personal jabs, and repeated laughter, Davis answered pertinent questions about his Tar Heel story, his path to this job, what it means to him to be taking over at UNC, and how he plans to put his stamp on the program.
