Firm to aid in distributing COVID drug remdesivir

CHELMSORD -- A local company will play a role in worldwide distribution of remdesivir, a drug therapy for coronavirus patients. 
The company, Sterling Corporation, at 20 Industrial Ave., has announced plans to cooperate with the pharmaceutical company, Eli Lilly, to distribute the drug.
About the plan
In a letter to Town Manager Paul Cohen, Joshua Brewster, the company's director of new business, explained plans to coordinate storage and distribution of supply kits for the drug.
The plan calls for construction of freezer trailer units on site, for packing kits to send to Eli Lilly's location in Connecticut.
