Border fire claims 20,000 acres in Adams and Perkins counties
A fire in Adams and Perkins counties claimed more than 20 miles of land as 20 area fire departments from North and South Dakota responded to help. The fire destroyed 19 farms and more than 20,000 acres of crops, with two firefighters injured in the blaze.
