So prior to becoming president of the United States, trump has been willing and eager to solicit the support of foreign governments, including foreign adversaries starting with russia, later with an ally, ukraine, and now another adversary, china, to interfere in our elections on his behalf. Lou is its not surprising, of course, to hear from rice in tones and truth like that. She is someone who, after all, told five sunday talk shows that the deadly attack on benghazi was started by an amateurs youtube video. What rice and bolton seem to, well, fail to understand is that President Trump isnt colluding with any other foreign nation. They have just about exhausted that narrative irrespective of the nation. Robert mueller discovered that with the nonsensical russian collusion special counsel investigation, an investigation that should never have been started in the first place. The president acquitted, of course, by the senate and the lefts sham impeachment effort. A hearing that john bolton, by the way, refused to testify in. And china has released a deadly contagion on the world, one that has decimated parts of our economy, infected 200,000 americans and killed 118,000 more. Just this week President Trump was requested about chinas role in spreading the virus. He told the wall street journal, quote theres a chance it was intentional, end quote. It is President Trump, after all, whos fought for fair, balanced and reciprocal trade with can china. Hes worked to stop beijings theft of hundreds of billions of dollars in u. S. Intellectual property each year. He has forthrightly challenged their currency manipulation and their cozy relationships with u. N. Agencies including the world health organization. And it is President Trump, after all, who has stood up to major corporations still seeking cheap labor in china instead of supporting the working american man and woman and their families. John bolton doesnt seem to grasp how all of that came to pass and who the president really is. The establishment neocon, bolton, failed to grasp entirely the trump doctrine. Bolton seems to have never realized President Trump could use the booming economy he created to achieve National Security objectives and preferred to do so economically rather than dropping bombs as the neocon preference. The president , through the use of diplomatic relationships, economic sanctions has created American Energy independence, he has put a boundary around the economies of russia, iran and china. And all authoritarian regimes that bolton claims President Trump is so willing to appease. What a man will do for 2 million. My, my, my. There was only one thing bolton seemed to understand, and that was bloodshed. The neocon way. He lied about the weapons of mass destruction in iraq. He stood by the u. S. Invasions of iraq and afghanistan, wars that american troops are still dying in. And while this new book may get boltons face time on television, hes managed to turn the left and the right against him. Heres how White House Press secretary Kayleigh Mcenany described bolton. John bolton had discredited himself. He is a misguided hawk on Foreign Policy and a weak dove of an author. This man is someone who praised President Trump as being strong on Foreign Policy, not making the mistakes of previous administrations, perfectly prepared. These are all quotes from john bolton. He said President Trump understands president Ronald Reagans peace through strength. Hes on the record saying this. Is so john boltons book is debunked by nonother than john bolton. None other than john bolton. If you thought comey was the most disliked man in america, i think john bolton has now taken that title. Lou and as caylee mci neighborny pointed out, its not only the white house and other republicans condemning boltons actions. Theres also rising outrage from the left. It is worth reminding everyone during all of in that john bolton is making his claim in these claims in his book, and hes trying to el books. The price the country had to pay after selling out his constitutional duty for 2 million, the book is now scheduled to be published next week and now bolton is attempting to literally cash in on beif trail of his country. I dont want to [inaudible] that was a substitute for testifying before congress. Lou bolton a tool now for the left and hardly appreciated. They hate him every bit as much for not taking part in their impeachment inquiry and all too happy to spread the most disparaging lies of his book about President Trump. The president today announcing tulsas republican mayor has lifted a curfew for anyone attending that rally. The mayor put one in place over reports that outside agitator groups including antifa might show up to create trouble. In a tweet President Trump warned such folks. Quote any protesters, anarchists, agitators, looters or lowlives who are going to oklahoma, please understand you will not be treated like youve been in new york, seattle or minneapolis. It will be a much different scene. Supporters have been lining up for days outside the box center in downtown tulsa. That arena holds about 19,000 people. Want to know how many people have been signing up to attend the rally . More than a million supporters signing up for tomorrows event. The campaign has set up an outdoor stage and jumbotron to accommodate the overflow crowd that is expected. Rad call the creme radical dems and the leftwing National Media are just beside themselves, complaining, moaning about the rally calling it are you ready . A superspreader for the china virus. Not a peep from any of them as millions filled the streets of democratic cities around the country to protest and to demonstrate. Lets start with the hearing today, two hours and, obviously, the government wanting john boltons book not to be published, not to be distributed. How do you, how do you think it went . Well, first, lou, thanks for having me tonight. I do appreciate it. I think it went relatively well. Look, let me tell you a little bit about john bolton. I think john bolton going to go down in history as the Benedict Arnold as the National Security advisers to the United States. Ive never seen anything like what he has done. I think hes duplicitous at best, selfserving and i think at times comes across as an absolute fraud and a liar. Look, when i came in on the administration, i came in on the day of the inauguration. Ive either been the chief of staff of the National Security council, or ive been National Security adviser to the Vice President of the United States. Ive served with mike flynn, h. R. Mcmaster, john bolton and now robert obrien, who i happen to think is the best National Security adviser weve had since the president s had them. Because of that, ive had an opportunity to be involved in every single National Security discussion and event that weve had since President Trump has been in office. Ive been to conferences, ive been in cabinet meetings, ive been on head of state calls, ive seen what hes done. And one thing the president has done with heads of state and leaders, hes been very forceful. Hes been direct. Hes been candid. And if theres anything hes done, the one single thing that hes done is he has supported the American People. Its always been america first. Hes always looked out for american interests first. Its something john bolton hasnt done. Look, lou, i can tell you a year ago when we were up in bedminster, i saw john bolton personally derail the afghan peace talks that we were trying to get accomplished. We thought we had a pretty good handle on it going forward. Because of that, were a year behind what we were trying to do in stopping the longest war in american history. I saw him twice, on two different occasions, nearly get us involved in a shooting war in the middle east because he was giving erroneous given i roan now information from john bolton. I saw him try to derail what we were doing with kim jong un in north korea when he talked about the libya model, which was a disaster. That was given to us by president obama, joe biden and Hillary Clinton which involved libya in a civil war which they are still fighting and gad gaddafi dying. Yes, the president hired him, the president fired him too. Lou and how dud bolton how did bolton undercut the president s efforts to reach an agreement about, that would include the withdrawal of our troops in afghanistan . Well, he undercut it because he said he wasnt involved with it, he undercut it by not really giving the truth on what was happening when working with the taliban leadership or president ghaani. He just misrespected himself so it misrepresented himself so it seemed like we didnt have things wired together, and that was all john bolton. Lou you believe, without question, that he has been a traitor to the United States government. John, i wouldnt lou, i e wouldnt say johns a traitor. I would never go that that far,i think he was not a good fit for this administration. I dont think hed be a good fit for any administration. In fact, id be surprised if anybody wanted to hire him as a dogcatcher. Hes just not a good fit. He always has, lou, his own agenda, what he wants to get accomplished regardless of what everybody else is trying to do out there. Lou yeah. It thats extraordinary. It is, it is a shame that any, any president has to puppet with the put up with the nonsense that the president forced to with bolton. Its not a very nice way to say thanks for bringing him into the administration and giving him an opportunity to serve the nation. And for 2 million and a book deal well, he came, to me, lou, he came under false pretenses. He came here saying he would do certain things, he would support the president ,ing and the entire time he was here he worked to go a different direction from where the president wanted to take this nation. And he would do it subtly. Hes a good bureaucratic infighter, and he knew how to do it. And the president finally said, enough, im done with this guy. He brought him in, because the president likes to have diversity of opinion. When the president brings you into a room, he asks everybody in that room on what we should do. Everybody has a voice in that room, and then he makes the decision. John was always pushing against the president , always trying to develop a course of action that we knew the president didnt want to go through. Finally the president said, enough, i dont need this anymore, thank you very much, youre gone. Lou its not as though the president didnt have men few of opposition to president didnt have plenty of opposition to his prefer withdrawal of american troops from afghanistan, fighting the entire military industrial complex, and its just extraordinary what this president almost every initiative he takes is heavy lifting throughout. Lou President Trump telling politico that mailin voting could put his reelection at risk. The president said, quote my biggest risk is that we dont win lawsuits, we have many lawsuits going all over. And if we dont win those lawsuits, i think it puts the election at risk. The Trump Administration and republicans have lawsuits in 16 states trying to stop these changes. The president s concerns over mailin voting comes as the New York Times reports that new york citys board of elections has been overwhelmed by absentee ballot requests, and 29,000 City Residents still dont have a ballot for tuesdays primary. Lou says with these lawsuits hes depending on it for an election of integrity and electoral integrity. This is very alarming, to hear the president say that so much is riding on a jewish curbly judiciary that, frankly, compromise just every bit as much as other parts of our government. Well, this has been a statebystate battle, lou, to protect the integrity of our elections. The left has, is using the coronavirus as an compute to upend our excuse to upend our election systems. Theyre actually suppressing the vote, in my view, by scaring people away from voting in person which is, obviously, the most secure way to vote, the best way to prevent voter fraud. And, you know, in california they want to swamp the mails with ballots, 20 million ballots. Its not just the president ial race at issue here. You obviously have all these races down ballot for which there will be severe temptation to cheat. And now thats going to be a lot easier to do because our system is going to be overwhelmed with ballots and applications for ballots. Here just in the District Of Columbia they announced theyre mailing ballots to everybody, you know . Weve proven, weve shown repeatedly because weve been winning in court to clean up the lists that the lists across america are filthy in terms of having more people on the rolls than are eligible to vote. And those people, you can be sure, are going to be the groups getting some of these ballots. Lou so here we are going in to the reelection bid for this president , the election this november. Were less than five months away,ing and where in the hell have the republicans been to assure electoral integrity . This is, you know, it reminds me of our asking the chinese not to steal our intellectual property. We have a responsibility to protect ourselves, to protect the integrity. And i, frankly, am deeply, deeply alarmed to hear that the Republican Party isnt to wage electoral battle to preserve the integrity of the election and instead is have gone to these courts that are just as compromised in political corruption, i think, as any other part of the federal government and in some states even more so. Well, the states have a lot of lou am i wrong . Youre right. Lou yeah. But theyve been cowed at the state and local level. A lot of republicans have bought into this fear mongering. You know, this is why the coronavirus lockdowns needed to be lifted, because it was inevitable that you would have this increased demand for unsecure mailin ballots. Were now turning over the election, it looks like in many ways, to the United States postal service. I tell you, lou, election day is going to be chaotic, much more so than usual. We may not know who won for weeks. It may go to the house in terms of having electoral votes cast aside potentially because of the gamesmanship going on now. This is a crisis, and youre highlighting it, and were whistling past the graveyard in many respects. Come november frankly, just come three months from now theres no turning back. Lou yeah. Well, i dont know that there is now. Maybe youre right. Lou i dont understand why republicans arent putting together volunteers, a phalanx for every electoral district in the country, for every polling booth in the country yeah. Lou whatever it takings. Because ive got to tell you, i really believe the American People are so tired of numbskull republicans who sutt on their hands and, you know, pander to the corporate establishment and globalist elites who dont give a damn about jobs, dont give a damn about the election just so long as they can preserve their interests. I mean, its a sad damn story were watching. And the Justice Department step in as well. We got california, Los Angeles County lou then where the hell are they . Were doing the work. Were suing in excuse me, in pennsylvania, North Carolina to clean up two million names in those statements a alone. States awe loan. You have the Justice Department of the Trump Administration trying to, trying to enforce a Supreme Court decision that put daca on, basically, on virtually zero legal footing in terms of being solid. And they were trying to enforce the law. And now the Supreme Courts telling the president he cant enforce the law the Supreme Court put forward in terms of knocking back the Obama Amnesty scheme. Every contact ive had with the chinese, they have, they have reaffirmed their commitment to living up to the agreement. They say theyre going to meet their commitments, and the indicators now that we have are that they are going to meet em. Is so thats what were hoping. Thank you very much. Lou i want to thank you. I wanted to turn to you to get your sense of what in the world is going on. A meeting between pompeo expect chinese. We have really no, no details whatsoever about that meeting, and we have our trade representative, Robert Lighthizer, telling the house ways and Means Committee they hope, basically, what he said was we hope theyll meet their obligations. Am i misreading what is being said here . No, not at all. I think it is as much a hope as actual evidence at this point. I mean, in the past i would say two, three weeks china has increased its purchases particularly of agriculture products, soy e beans and soybeans, wheat and cotton, knowing that that is near and dear to the president s heart and trying its best to make sure that the deal stays on track. Lou bob, as i look at the numbers, it looks to me like were still, you know, multiples away from any level approaching what was agreed at this point under the phase one trade deal for agricultural purchases. I dont know how they can catch up because new obligations arise as well. I dont understand the sort of wonderland are approach to geopolitics. Its not real politics. Ive never, as a matter of fact, heard any administration we hope that a country doesnt invade us, we hope that they wont steal our intellectual property, we hope. I mean, what in hell is going on . Well, you know, the goals, the commitments by the chinese under the phase one deal were enormous. They looked at a they committed to a level of purchase that was, that is unprecedented in u. S. china relations x. That was before the outbreak of coronavirus. Lou right. So, yeah, youre right, theyre nowhere near hitting those targets. I think whats going on is theyre increasing their purchases now. Again, both sides want to keep the deal intact. And i think, you know, by the end of by the time of the election, the president will be able to point to increased purchases. And, honestly, you know, youre not going to know whether they really hit the targets until the elections over and either the president s reelect or, you know, hes tweeting from mar a rah lag go. So i think theres sort of a tacit understanding on both sides that, yeah, theyre going to try, but, you know, trying is probably good enough. At least to keep the deal intact. Lou we do know one thing, and in part is your reporting and ling lingways reporting in your new book, the superpower showdown, that there is Division Within the administration. And particularly where it comes to the establishment, the Business Establishment of this country. We with also know we also know that wall street is an immense beneficiary of that phase one trade deal, winning access to trillions of dollars in china and are seeking to exploit that massive opportunity. Meanwhile, weve got 115,000 americans, and we know the number will rise considerably who are dead because president xi chose not to warn the world that he and the Chinese Government had unleashed a deadly contagion on the world. How does this square up . This looks like an immense contradiction and dilemma for President Trump and his administration. Well, i mean, they are, theyre different challenges, basically, right . I mean, you had this, you know, virus sweep across the globe at the same time that theyre finishing up negotiations over the phase one deal. The u. S. Wanted that phase one deal to be wrapped up. Again, it came just around the time where it was clear that the virus was really significant, and china deserves a lot ott criticism, certainly, for their concern a e a lot of criticism for their initial response lou expect coverup. Yeah, definitely, and the coverup, without a doubt, which continues to this draw. But the questions for the administration, the powell question for the administration is so what do you want to do . Do you want to blow up the relationship over that, or do you want to keep it together to some degree . I mean, the weird irony here is the confrontation between these two superpowers for the past few years has been over trade and economic issues. Theres some screwball things happening in this country [laughter] are we going to this he is. Now there he is. Now, this is a man demonstrating poll youpolishing shoes. I mean, white people should shine black peoples shoes to combat racism. Is that the solution that you would have thought of right away . [laughter] look, im sure dan kathy is a sincere person but, lou, to try to solve racism of by shining shoes is like trying to cure cancer with bandaid. I mean, its dealing with a superficial symptom unstead of the problem. And this last sunday i addressed my church and, by extension, millions of people who watch us on tv, about the problem of racism and lawlessness. And, look, racism and lawlessness, burning down buildings, both of those things are wrong, but they are not the root problem in america. They are symptoms of the root problem which is rebellion against god, sin. And, lou, if you will deal with the root problem, getting people right with god, wanting to please him, then problems like racism and lawlessness, they evaporate overnight. But youll never solve the problem unless you deal with the root cause of the problem. Lou i think youre exactly right. But i am also very concerned because weve got people saying, you know, part of the demonstrations of the leftwing activists in the little over two week of demonstrations and riots in some cases, having people kneel before demonstrators to show good faith and heart yeah. Lou think about this, in 21 1st century 21st Century America we have people demanding others kneel before them. And we have people, americans, willing to kneel before them. There was yeah. Lou there was a time that a lot of things might have ensued, but it wouldnt be one american on his knees in front of another, or her knees. This is outraw juice. It is. And i tell you, lou, im not kneeling before anybody except god himself lou amen. Your producer sent me a poll that said 60 of americans prefer saying all lives matter instead of black lives matter. And its not because most americans are racist, its because most americans realize that all lives, whether its black or brown or white or any other color were created by god and, therefore, they matter to god. And you can believe that and still believe that there were horrible injustices against black americans in our nations history. But, lou, this attempt by the left to coerce people and to say what they want them to say or label them as a racists, that is nothing but bullying. And the American People are growing tired of this bullying by the left, and i predict theres going to be a giant backlash against it. That backlash may or may not be in the streets, but i guarantee you that backlash will be at the ballot box on tuesday, november 3rd. Lou well, i think that backlash has to begin with, you know, whatever we style it. But weve got to talk honestly about who we are, what we will do, what we will not do. And we should, as americans, never demand anyone kneel before us. And i would urge everyone who wants to pander on any basis find strong heart and faith. Thats right.
