Family Guy creator is rebooting 80s comedy Revenge of the Nerds

The original
Revenge of the Nerds was directed by Jeff Kanew and grew into a franchise – the original story focused on the lives of a group of college nerds who tried to outsmart a jock fraternity named the Alpha Betas.
In 2006, 20th Century Fox attempted to remake the movie – however, the project got cancelled after two weeks of production. Adam Brody, Kristin Cavallari and Dan Byrd were cast in this reboot.
There is currently no release date set for the newest
Revenge of the Nerds movie.
