Failed retiree takes on Wrigley Center development project in downtown Port Huron
SPECIAL REPORT: ST. CLAIR COUNTY/PORT HURON
Port Huron and St. Clair County had several projects stopped in their tracks by COVID-19 and the lockdowns. Several of them, and some new developments, are underway again.
In this special report:
Port Huron has Larry Jones' miserable failure at retirement to thank for turning a hulking eyesore in the middle of downtown into what will be a mixed-use, $14.4 million development, with 36 loft apartments on the top three floors and a 50,000-square-foot ground floor that will include a farmer's market, an old-school arcade with Skee-ball and Pop-a-Shot basketball, rock climbing, restaurants, retail stores, a bakery and wood and pottery shops.
