Admission to Enchanted Forest theme park is already sold out for this weekend's planned reopening at a limited capacity.
This weekend's reopening, announced by owners on Facebook, marks the park's latest attempt to resume operations following some false starts and pushback over its mask policy.
Several weeks ago, the park's owners announced they'd be opening following the announcement of relaxed mask and social distancing guidance in Oregon, but were met with unhappy comments, and even threats, after people learned they must wear a mask unless they provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
To keep things simple, Susan Vaslev, a second-generation owner and operator, said the park will not be looking at vaccination cards. Instead, guests will be required to wear masks indoors, but not outdoors.
