Residents of a care home are to get an early Christmas present this year thanks to regulars from a nearby pub.
Elderly people living in Linden House Residential and Dementia Care home in Blackburn will be able to see friends and family in a specially made visitor pod, which has been built and donated free of charge.
The pod, which care home staff have dubbed 'a lovely little Wendy house', was built by Clifton Arms regular Dom Burrows, known as 'Chippy Nick' as part of the charitable community work members of Team Clifton have been carrying out during the pandemic.
