External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reached Tashkent from nearby Dushanbe on Thursday along with the same set of ministers from other countries to discuss the future of Afghanistan and promote connectivity in one of the least connected regions of the world.
India, Africa against ‘vaccine apartheid’
New Delhi: India has joined hands with African countries to present a united front against “vaccine apartheid” being practised by developing countries, especially the European Union. As part of this process, MoS for External Affairs V Muralidharan consulted the Ministers from Malawi and Ghana, Eisenhower Mkaka and Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong, respectively, to call upon the acceptance of vaccines administered through the global initiative.
