insurrection. brian todd is up on capitol hill right near the scene of the attack. the police officer, sadly, was killed. the attacker, he is dead as well. they have both now been identified and this investigation is underway. reporter: it is, wolf, and still a lot left to find out in this investigation. i can tell you just a short time ago police towed away the vehicle involved in this attack a blue sedan that struck that barricade clearly with significant force. the officer killed in the attack is william billy evans, an 18-year member of the police force and a member of the capitol division s first responder unit. we have new details on the suspect and how this attack unfolded. a suspect in a car rammed two capitol police officers at the security barrier at the capitol complex, then got out of the vehicle wielding a knife, police say. he did not respond to verbal commands. the suspect did start lunging toward u.s. capitol police officers, at which time u.s. capitol p
