The streamer has handed out a series order to the multi-camera comedy from writers Amy Pocha and Seth Cohen and executive producer Bill Lawrence. The show is based on the former ABC comedy of the same name, which ran from 1986-91.
Like the original, the new
Head of the Class is a multi-camera comedy about a group of overachieving high school students who meet their greatest challenge: a teacher, played by Isabella Gomez (
One Day at a Time), who wants them to focus less on grades and more on experiencing life.
