Dr. Timothy Crone excited about leading Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital

CANTON  Dr. Timothy Crone hit the ground running this week.
The new president of Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital started in the role Tuesday, which included visiting each unit of the Canton hospital and meeting employees.
"There's a very positive energy here. There's a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. It's just been fantastic so far," he said. "Honestly, it was a fun day. It was a really fun day yesterday."
The former Mercy Medical Center officially became part of the Cleveland Clinic health system Monday after more than a century as a Sisters of Charity hospital.
The hospital will maintain its Catholic identity through sponsorship by the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine.
