>> two jobs, his wife a home care worker and he ended up homeless. >> absolutely. and that's a lot of the workers in our movement, we first started, we have workers who are working 40 to 60 hours a week sleeping in cars, sleeping in parks, standing homeless shelters. americans are paying about $7 billion a year, just to subsidize workers who work in the fast food industry because these companies aren't paying them enough money. it is the same thing in airports. four decades ago, you had an airport job, you worked for the airport, had a pension, guarantee raises, great raises, you know, job security, now you work for an airport, it is like a fast food job. you're homeless sleeping in a park with your children. i don't think that's the type of country we want to live in. >> i talked to a lot of the airport workers and i think sciu, it is amazing what they have to deal with and then they don't have the wherewithal to live. well, thank you for joining us.
