welcome back to "the ed show." big story tonight. there is a big pot of money outside of the united states. and it will help reduce the deficit. now, we've all heard about it. we've got to find revenue streams to come in. well, let's do this. two simple words. tax evasion. today the united states signed a major agreement with switzerland to crack down on tax evaders at a time when the treasury department has already been steadily turning the screws on tax evaders in getting concrete results. this agreement with switzerland will help implement a law passed in 2010, the foreign account tax compliance act, or fatca. this will be a major blow to tax evaders since switzerland is truly, you could call it the motherland for tax evaders. the law requires foreign banks to inform the irs of any american offshore accounts
