now to the dramatic plane crash involving harrison ford. at the controls of a vintage aircraft when it slammed in to a california golf course. the 72-year-old actor reported engine trouble shortly after takeoff from santa monica airport. he was trying to turn back when the plane started to plummet, clipping a tree before hitting the ground. golfers rushing in to help, initially without knowing who it was. >> somebody then said at that point it is harrison ford. he was able to speak. he expressed he was in pain, which was no surprise. >> one of ford's sons tweeting, quote, dad is battered but okay. and also calling his father an incredibly strong man. >> of course he is, han solo, indiana jones survived plenty of plane crashes. we will have the latest on his condition and the investigation in to the crash. >> as a matter of fact, ted rolands is at the hospital, where ford is recovering. what are you hearing about ford's injuries right now?
