now to the dramatic plane crash involving harrison ford. at the controls of a vintage aircraft when it slammed in to a california golf course. the 72-year-old actor reported engine trouble shortly after takeoff from santa monica airport. he was trying to turn back when the plane started to plummet, clipping a tree before hitting the ground. golfers rushing in to help, initially without knowing who it was. somebody then said at that point it is harrison ford. he was able to speak. he expressed he was in pain, which was no surprise. one of ford s sons tweeting, quote, dad is battered but okay. and also calling his father an incredibly strong man. of course he is, han solo, indiana jones survived plenty of plane crashes. we will have the latest on his condition and the investigation in to the crash. as a matter of fact, ted rolands is at the hospital, where ford is recovering. what are you hearing about ford s injuries right now?

sister wasn t appreciative enough of her. ted rolands has the story. reporter: a small bouquet of flowers sits outside the front door of the townhouse where police say an 11-year-old girl was stabbed more than 30 times by her 14-year-old sister. a story so awful it s left many people in the chicago suburb of mundeline in shock. please pray for for us. this is quite a tragedy. just pray for the family. reporter: according to prosecutors, the 14-year-old or originally lied calling 911 saying an intruder attacked her sister and fled. but when questioned by police, her story changed. she confessed to using a kitchen knife to stab her sister to dead in bed tuesday morning. the 14-year-old allegedly told investigators she was angry that her little sister didn t appreciate that she had been taking care of her, including cooking her meals. prosecutors say the teen showered to wash off the blood and then called police.
