"We were not granted a remand order on the suspect," he told reporters after visiting the Setia Alam movement control order roadblock on Thursday (Feb 18).
Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Fadzil Ahmat had said the police were expected to bring the 34-year-old man to the Shah Alam Court at 10am on Thusrday (Feb 18) to obtain a remand order on him.
"To date, we have received 74 police reports nationwide in connection with this case," he said when contacted on Thursday.
