DavSur PLGU extends assistance to brgy frontliners

DAVAO CITY, May 5 (PIA) - The provincial government of Davao del Sur has recently extended financial assistance amounting to P600,000 to two barangays in the province, in its continuing efforts to provide aid for the barangay's frontline workers.
The officials of Barangay Bagumbayan in the municipality of Malalag have received on Monday (May 3), financial assistance worth P300,000.00.
The assistance is intended to be used as incentives for the barangay frontline workers and functionaries, and for the purchase of medicines.
Another P300,000-worth of cash assistance has been extended to Barangay Langa-an in Matanao town, for the purchase of food supplies for the barangay's frontliners.
