Students of a theatre school were in for a treat, when twice-reigning champion of Strictly Come Dancing, Oti Mabuse, found the time to host a masterclass.
Oti, who is also the winning judge on The Greatest Dancer, joined more than 100 students and staff from Razzamataz Penrith, West Cumbria, Carlisle and Dumfries in a virtual studio for a high-energy, fun Charleston workshop.
The special experience was arranged by ‘super fan’ and Principal of Razzamataz Penrith Asha Richardson as she explains: “I reached out to Oti during lockdown as I find her really inspiring in all she does, and I loved joining her for her Instagram Dance sessions with husband Marius during Lockdown 1.0. I was so pleased when Marius got back to me and together we planned a Masterclass for our students.”
