Daish's Holidays hotels forced to cancel Christmas bookings

A HOLIDAY company based in Bournemouth has shut all its hotels after the latest Covid restrictions wrecked plans for ‘turkey and tinsel’ breaks.
Daish’s Holidays – which has 12 hotels and a fleet of 25 coaches – said it had made the “heartbreaking” decision to close until February 1.
The Westbourne-based company’s decision came after the government banned most travel from areas under Tier 3 or the new Tier 4 of coronavirus restrictions.
Mixing of three households indoors, which was to have been allowed for five days, is now only permitted on Christmas Day, everyone has been told to stay local for their celebrations.
