Poole Magistrates Court A DRINK driver who was more than four times the limit has received a suspended prison sentence and a five-year driving ban. Serge Van Den Heerik, 45, was at the wheel of a BMW when he was caught by officers in West Cliff Gardens, Bournemouth, on February 3. The defendant was found to not have a driving licence or insurance and he initially failed to stop for police. Van Den Heerik, whose address was given as West Cliff Gardens, admitted drink driving, using a vehicle without insurance, driving without a licence and failing to stop for an officer. During a hearing at Poole Magistrates Court on April 28, he was committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for two years. ....

Poole Magistrates Court A MAN has been handed a suspended prison sentence for a variety of offences which included store thefts and taking a motorbike without the owner s permission. Christopher Paul Lawrence Jones was spared an immediate jail term when he was sentenced at Poole Magistrates Court earlier this month. Jones, aged 33 and of Kenyon Road, Poole, had previously admitted three counts of theft, which concerned taking a £25.50 bottle gin from Asda in Culliford Crescent, Poole on August 5, 2020, and stealing building tools and equipment from A1 Hire and Sales Ltd in Old Wareham Road, Poole, on December 27 and December 30, 2019. He pleaded guilty to taking a KTM 125 Duke 14 motorbike from a man without the owner s consent on August 12, 2020. ....
Pierre Henri Sealey, 29 and of West Cliff Gardens, Bournemouth, crashed in Boscombe A DRIVER who led police on a high-speed two-mile chase and showed a “flagrant disregard” for the safety of others was told he was in “denial” by a judge. Pierre Henri Sealey overtook vehicles before crashing into a bollard and smashing a window of the McDonald’s restaurant in Christchurch Road, Boscombe. He attempted to flee the scene but he was detained by officers. Following his arrest, he refused to provide a specimen of breath with police believing he had consumed alcohol. Sealey admitted offences of dangerous driving, failing to stop, failing to report an accident and failing to provide a specimen at a magistrates’ court hearing in October 2020. ....
