[marching] these are americans. Exciting men, dedicating their lives to securing better world for all. Substance of america. We have another army. Producing weapons and fighting. Behind all these stand america. And the men who grow our food, produce vital materials that this land may remain free. This is the story of one such american farmer. This is farmer henry browne, age 38. Father of three children. This year, henry browne is growing more on the farm than ever before. To get work done, he and his family have to be up. This year, for the first time, they have a cow. Young henry is raising the calf by his own on his own. He is raising 20 hands. Ens. Last year, it was the same thing for breakfast. It did not build strong, healthy body. Young henry does like grass. He has begun to fill out. Father has plenty to do today. Not that every farmer does not always have 20 of work. But, this year is different. The government men said we needed more fats and oils. Planted 15 acres of peanuts. Farmer with respect for its land. His land. Benefit fromill the crop you have harvest. If the weather holds, henry real crop ofking a phoenix. Before going out to help for the copy shopping there is a lot that will being. Some was going to be put away for next winter. For cities with people who just cant grow their own vegetables. She is a pretty good farmer too. She certainly works hard. Must be worth the trouble because she has a mighty healthy flock. 40 acres of land. Not particularly good land, either. A barn that is not big or even new. No tractor. Just a team of mules and understanding of the elements and long hours of hard work for everyone. Doesnt seem like much. These are the things that make a farmer. Need bags badly. They will probably laugh for the duration. As our factories are turning out tanks and guns, we have to make everything last. Even the land. Land can be wasted. If farmer browne had not planted those peanuts, rain could wash away both his crop and his land. Right now, this land of farmer browne is mighty important to our country. We need more peanuts, more for everyonefood, to make the most of every acre of land. This is a day farmers go to town. Just to sell some eggs. Even so, it is rather early. There must be Something Special today. Arent they going to stop . They are going right on through town. What has him so excited . Wonder they did not stop in town. No wonder they are excited. Raising livestock. I am proud of him just for being an american at a time where every american has an important job to do.
