Skyrocketing drug prices on American Families. I recognize myself for five minutes to give an Opening Statement. Today we are closing this work. The way we started our work with this congress. A hearing on Prescription Drug prices. This is a bipartisan issue. That focuses on the many years. The first witness at our hearing was a woman named antoinette. A mother whose daughter died at 22 years of age after rationing insulin because she could not afford it. It was the subject of our hearing on hiv prevention drugs in may. Today, five patients and a Family Member are here to share their stories. I urge all members who go back to your districts and to talk to your constituents about their experiences struggling to pay for lifesaving drugs. I fear you will discover that we are facing a drug crisis in america. We have seen time and time again Drug Companies, skyrocketing prices, forcing families to make gutwrenching choices every day. To see, i would like to see more control of our voting by the county clerk in our counties, rather than giving it to the secretary of state, and she was sued by Judicial Watch for not cleaning up the voter rolls and at this time, the voter rolls are still not cleaned. Person runningw for secretary of state and every one of these candidates and the primary has basically supported cleaning up these the voter rolls. Another issue i would like to address host we are out of time, i want to give professor halderman a chance to respond to follow that. Guest i would say that the very positive thing that you just mentioned is the optical scan paper ballots in the polling place. That is the best technology we have currently for securely recording peoples votes. What the state also needs to do is make sure that those paper ballots are being regularly audited to make sure that they match the statewide results. Thats 90 miles from Yellowstone National park, drawing many tourists to the city. We will learn about the history and the surrounding region. When i first moved, there were so many named story. A story streets, story motors, story distributing. Lot written on him. There was a historian who said bozeman is misnamed. Personally i think bozeman has a better ring to it than any of those other options. I was curious about nelsons story, since his name was plastered all over the place. Has not been a fulllength biography ever written about him. Over the years i put it together. Nelson story was one of the more successful western capitalists in the history of the American West. John e live from northern colorado, and all of those people were very good. They started the most part and goldmining. After making some headw

Becky she stole my line because i was going to say this is probably the best teacher conference you can go to. That is why i brought irene this year. This is my third year. I want you to go back to your school and encourage all of your teacher friends to come because this is such a valuable conference. Thank you friends of the world war ii memorial for inviting me back again for your third. Irene and i are going to talk about, and we will see it in the video, fashion on the ration. Nothe united states, we did ration clothing as much as the british did. But we had some severe restrictions on rationing. One of the things you can see from the powerpoint is that 50 of japans exports are fabric and silk. 32 of that comes to the united states. And that they were our only source of silk. So you can imagine how, obviously, pearl harbor is going to impact silk and other fabrics in the unite
