COVID-19 vaccines open up America, but young kids are often left out

My wife and I made a late decision to go to North Topsail Beach for Memorial Day last weekend, getting a room in Jacksonville.
Jacksonville is a military town like Fayetteville and they are our retail twin — almost all the same chain stores and restaurants, from Target to the breakfast and brunch place First Watch.
In the Jacksonville Target, I did notice one difference right away. Very few people wore masks. 
I had been in the Fayetteville Target just days prior and about 80% to 90% of customers were masked up. This, in spite of the recent loosening of mask guidelines for vaccinated people by both the federal and state government.
