“We have been very busy contacting, screening, scheduling, and vaccinating many of our qualified residents,” said Mayor James Davis.
Despite Winter Storm Orlena, vaccinations have continued. Davis himself drove staff and residents to Bayonne Medical Center during the snowstorm.
On Feb. 1, Davis helped shuttle BMC staff and Bayonne Board of Education nurses to the hospital to distribute vaccines. The nurses have been assisting in the “all hands on deck” effort to vaccinate as many residents as possible.
