Council debunks suspicion over Farleigh truck depot

A petition to stop a Farleigh truck depot has been dismissed after it was found no development applications had been submitted for the site.
About 70 residents had objected to what they suspected was a truck stop being built at 4 Christoe St citing concerns for children's' safety with the location near Farleigh State School.
But a Mackay Regional Council meeting on Wednesday confirmed there had been zero development applications lodged or approved at the address.
