"No one rang me from the RSL or the bowlo, no one from NSW Health," he said.
The concreter went and got tested on Wednesday and was in isolation yesterday when he got the call saying he was positive.
"I couldn't believe it; I'd had no symptoms at all. I'd just done the right thing by going to get tested."
