As the National Assembly’s 1999 Constitution Review held a two day public hearing across the six geopolitical zones of the country, Rivers State Socio-cultural and socio-political group, Kenge Unity Forum (KUF) has submitted their position paper to the Committee in Port-Harcourt.
The memorandum which contained the group’s position as seen by DAILY POST on Friday has a series of recommendations that they believe would cure the daunting social and infrastructural challenges confronting the nation.
The memorandum which was submitted to the Committee by the group’s leader, Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich insisted that ownership rights of lands and the natural resources be restored to the original indigenous landowners while government should play a regulatory role.
