The California Highway Patrol is on the lookout for a driver who hit and killed a 76-year-old bicyclist in Sacramento County and drove off afterward.The crash happened Saturday at 5:45 p.m. near Power Inn Road and Blackhawk Drive, the California Highway Patrol South Sacramento division said. A driver in a newer Toyota SUV was making a right turn southbound on Power Inn Road when she hit a 76-year-old bicyclist who was going against traffic on Power Inn's bike lane.CHP said the driver stopped initially after the crash, but then she drove off quickly, running over the bicyclist while doing so. Fire personnel from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District declared the man dead at the scene.The driver of the dark gray Toyota Sequoia, described by CHP as a newer model -- at least 2012 -- was last seen making a right turn on Loucreta Drive.
