China jails citizen-journalist for four years over Wuhan COVID-19 reporting

A Chinese court handed a four-year jail term on Monday to a citizen-journalist, Zhang Zhan who reported from the central city of Wuhan at the peak of last year’s COVID-19 outbreak, Reuters reports.
Zhan’s lawyer said her client was convicted on grounds of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.”
