Chick-fil-A, CarMax among projects expected in new year

The construction of a Chick-fil-A restaurant is one of several new business developments planned for the new year in Victorville. 
City spokeswoman Sue Jones shared with the Daily Press a list of major business and infrastructure projects expected to begin in 2021.
One project that has received much attention is the Chick-fil-A restaurant coming to Mariposa Road near Interstate 15. 
Earlier this year, the city Planning Commission issued permits to Chick-fil-A to demolish the building formerly occupied by a Marie Callender’s restaurant. 
Once the building is removed and the property cleared, the company will construct a 5,088-square-foot restaurant that will include patio seating and a double drive-thru.
