Candlelight vigil planned to mourn Chestermere house fire victims

The Chestermere home along Oakmere Close was owned by Amjad Kamal, neighbour Khaleel Bhatti told Postmedia. The fire occurred while Amjad, his wife Batool Rashid and their five children were hosting his brother Asad Kamal, his wife Rafiya Kamal and their three children.
The blaze ripped through the home around 2:30 a.m. Friday, according to RCMP.

RCMP Cpl. Tammy Keibel said the investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, though there is still no indication that the cause is criminal in nature.
