California senator demands FBI investigate abuse claims against Marilyn Manson

Senator Susan Rubio requested an FBI investigation into abuse claims against musician Marilyn Manson on January 21
It's unclear how she was aware of the claims against him from several women
On Monday, 
Four other women made similar claims on social media and more have followed
Rubio's office won't say how she knew about the claims beforehand 
Manson has denied all of the allegations as 'distortions of reality'  
He has been dropped by his record label, talent agency and cut out of TV shows
