Bursa on downtrend at midday

Bursa Malaysia remained on a downtrend at midday on Friday (Jan 6), amid profit-taking activities after Thursday's strong rally. At lunchbreak, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell by 5.23 points to 1,475.7 from Thursday's close of 1,480.93.
