Burning Coal Theatre is seeking submissions for its annual KidsWrite! program.
Each spring, the Raleigh theater seeks short one-act plays from local sixth graders to twelfth graders. Once submitted, Burning Coal will provide some constructive feedback and select six to 10 plays that will be professionally produced for the public on stage or virtually in May.
You — or really, interested tweens and teens — have some time. The submission deadline is March 1. But it takes time to get those creative juices flowing. And winter break is a perfect time to get them going.
