The payment of the controversial $418 million Paris Club refund to some consultants allegedly owed has been put on hold by President Muhammadu Buhari, PREMIUM TIMES reports. Buhari was said to have given the directive to the Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, to suspend plans to begin the deduction of $418 million Paris Club refund allegedly owed four contractors from the federation account, at the Federal Executive Council meeting of August 3, where the matter was extensively discussed.
