Brookline Village hotel and Punch Bowl restaurant opening soon

Redcoats drank there in the days leading up to the Revolution. Stage coaches heading to and from Boston stopped to share news and gossip. The Brookline Selectmen — as they were known then — held meetings over food and drink. 
In Brookline’s earliest days, the Punch Bowl Tavern made Brookline Village a hub of activity. Now, an upcoming partnership between the Hilton Garden Inn and La Morra restaurateurs Jen and Josh Ziskin aims to restore that spirit of communal gathering.  
On April 1, the Ziskins will open Punch Bowl, a “modern city tavern” located in the new hotel, which is set to open March 30.
