Brockton COVID vaccines: Bridgewater State, Shaw's Center are clinics

Brockton's Shaw Center COVID-19 vaccine clinic is now open to surrounding towns and Bridgewater State University will open as a regional vaccine site next week. 
The change comes after Gov. Charlie Baker announced this week that four of the state's seven mass vaccine sites would close by the end of June and doses would go to regional collaboratives, local clinics and disproportionately affected communities.
“Our local communities deserve safe, convenient COVID-19 vaccine access and the new BSU site will be a welcome addition to the existing locations in our region,” Sen. Marc Pacheco, a Taunton Democrat whose district includes Bridgewater, said in a statement.
