Britain's barren boozers: Pubs say cost of living crisis and huge rises in energy bills means they have had to scale back operations with some venues closing as early as 8pm

Pub-goers are now facing having to spend less time at the pub than they use to as a poll of British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) members found 32 per cent had reduced their hours due to high costs.
