RAPID CITY, S.D. — COVID restrictions have forced changes to South Dakota’s Future Farmers of America Foundation. Last year was a virtual convention, but this year, it means a break from tradition, and a change in location to Rapid City.
The FFA convention is being move from the Brookings campus of South Dakota State University, and will be held at both the Central States Fairgrounds and Western Dakota Tech. It’s the first time the event will not be held at SDSU, but the move to Rapid City is considered a better option than holding another virtual convention.
