The President Bola Tinubu-led Nigerian government after intense backlashes has admitted that it funded 422 officials to attend the ongoing Climate Summit in Dubai, otherwise called COP-28, in the United Arab Emirates. According to Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, in a release on Monday, 67 officials are from the Presidency while others from the Vice President, Ministries, departments and agencies.
