Blue Hill to present solar farm moratorium to voters
BLUE HILL — The town of Blue Hill intends to present voters with a solar farm moratorium at a special town meeting on a date yet to be determined, according to town officials. 
Blue Hill has received one application from Borrego Solar, doing business as Blue Hill Solar, which proposes a solar farm on the York Road in East Blue Hill, said Code Enforcement Officer Judy Jenkins. The Planning Board Nov. 9 found the application incomplete.
Jenkins said the selectmen have reviewed a first draft of the proposed solar moratorium and are awaiting revisions. Drummond Woodsum attorneys at law is doing the work.
