Early season rankings led some to believe the opening match of the Big Nine Conference wrestling season between Owatonna and Northfield would determine the league title. But the Faribault Falcons had other ideas.
Entering Tuesday's final triangular of the conference schedule, Faribault is 8-0 in the official Big Nine standings and 18-1 overall. OHS is 7-1 (17-5). Tuesday's meet begins at 5:30 pm with Faribault against JM. Then the Huskies will face the Rockets, The main event will feature OHS and Faribault with radio and online coverage through AM 1390 KRFO and The Mighty 920 KDHL.
