Bezant Resources unearths another significant copper mineralisation at Minemba
"We are particularly encouraged by the geological sequence which is the same as in the nearby rich copper pit at Kalengwa," said executive chairman Colin Bird
Bezant Resources PLC (LON:BZT) has unveiled another significant copper intercept in its second drill hole at the Minemba prospect within the Kalengwa area in Zambia.
The copper-gold exploration and development company has a 30% interest and acts as operator in the project.
The mineralisation was intersected over a 114-metre downhole width within altered and brecciated gabbro intrusive rocks in the second hole at Minemba.
Preliminary hand-held measurements, to be confirmed with geochemical assays, returned copper grades over six metres at 1.67% copper from 99 to 105 metres, including two metres at 2.9% copper, among others.
