BC man injured after being attacked by bear while walking on trail
A BC man was lucky to escape with only minor injuries after being attacked by a bear on Friday.
According to the BC Conservation Officer Service, a man was walking along a trail during the afternoon on Mount Fromme when he was clawed at by a bear. The animal made contact with the man's body, injuring him in the process.
Thankfully, the man was with a group of hikers and the bear did not pursue him.
No one else was injured from the incident. The man quickly received medical attention and is recovering well.
