Hospitals struggling, more vaccines on the way
With intensive care capacity buckling under an unprecedented surge in coronavirus cases across the state, California has opened four field hospitals where dozens of patients are now being treated, and has either already deployed or is making arrangements to bring in more than 800 additional health care providers.
