Nigerian security forces on Thursday rescued 69 kidnapped victims in Bauchi State, SaharaReporters learnt. The victims are from Toro, Tafawa Balewa, Ningi and Alkaleri local government areas of the state. Security forces comprising the police, military and operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) reportedly took counterterrorism operations to terrorists’ enclaves, according to the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abdulrazaq Zaki.
