The new colourful mural at the Barton underpass has been warmly welcomed by locals.
After the project was delayed due to the pandemic and various lockdowns, Katy Cockram, a trustee of the Barton Community Association, got the scheme back on track in January.
The underpass walls were cleaned, and drainage cleared by Oxford Direct Services (ODS).
The cleaning revealed some historic graffiti which was painted over by ODS, in preparation for the mural painting.

Local artist Tommy Watkins then got to work creating the mural, injecting colour into the Barton Village Road side.
