Barry Fitzgerald named Knight of the Month

Barry Fitzgerald was named Knight of the Month for November by the St. Scholastica Knights of Columbus Council 14485 in Lecanto. 
Fitzgerald moved to Citrus County from Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2017 and retired from United Parcel Service as a driver after 41 years of service. 
Fitzgerald has two children, Colleen and Brian and two grandchildren who live in Wayne County in Pennsylvania.

Soon after arriving in Citrus County, Fitzgerald joined St. Scholastica Knights Council and has been very active. Having a passion for masonry work, he enjoys working with decorative concrete and brick. While living in Pennsylvania, he resurfaced safety ramps and sidewalks, which took abuse from the harsh winters, for a Parish that he belonged to.
