Assam: AGP fields Phani Bhusan and Zabed Islam for Lok Sabha polls

AGP announced candidates for Barpeta and Dhubri in Assam. BJP declared candidates for 11 seats. AGP confident of winning both seats. Congress had won the Barpeta seat back in 2019. This time, AGP aims to have representation in Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, BJP also aims to win 11 out of 14 seats in Assam. BJP won 14 seats in Northeast India in 2019. Congress won 3 seats last time.
